\r\nKostas Iraklis Georgiou, born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1950, studied fine arts and \r\n graphic design in Europe. In addition to painting he has worked as an art director in \r\n the media, theatrical set designer and as an illustrator for a leading newspaper in \r\nGreece. His work can be found in the National Gallery of Greece, Deste Foundation \r\nfor Contemporary Art, Florina Museum of Contemporary Art, Emporiki Bank, Aget \r\n Herakles-Lafarge collection and in numerous private collections around the world.
